Vapna's live long-play Palimery is out!
Less keyboards, but more guitar, percussion and delay pedals.
Belarusian band Vapna releases live longplay 'Palimery' via Radio Plato label. The releases features live versions of eight tracks from last year's studio album Askiepki, an old song 'Nedovgo/Niadoŭha' from pre-Vapna times (now also in Belarusian), as well as the song 'La mora', which will be included in the second Vapna's studio album. Here is the band's comment:
– Our live album 'Palimery' is both an echo of the rehearsals without which the studio recordings would not have appeared, and a foretaste of live performances to come. Like many Belarusian musicians, we miss concerts. We recorded our tracks live, without overlays, at several rehearsal studios (one of the recording locations was the basement of the Institute of Polymers, where the Institute's orchestra usually rehearses). The recording was made while moving and traveling, partly on borrowed instruments and effects units. It is stubborn music from not very musical times. Less keyboards, but more guitar, percussion and delay pedals.
