<iframe width="100%" height="300" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" allow="autoplay" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/185879121&color=%231e1d1d&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true"></iframe><div style="font-size: 10px; color: #cccccc;line-break: anywhere;word-break: normal;overflow: hidden;white-space: nowrap;text-overflow: ellipsis; font-family: Interstate,Lucida Grande,Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Sans,Garuda,Verdana,Tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight: 100;"><a href="https://soundcloud.com/mockyrecordings" title="@Mockyrecordings" target="_blank" style="color: #cccccc; text-decoration: none;"></div>Multi-instrumentalist Mocky has worked with Kelela, Bok Bok, Le1f, and Mr. Oizo, and this is his solo work, which, as he says, embodied non-electronic aspirations to write music. It is heard. Sweet Things is a relaxed jazz R'n'B in the style of the 70s, which fits perfectly for bath time after work.
<br>Life Without Buildings - Let's Get Out
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LZQ3eIBDYHU" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>A song from the time when indie was a way of life. But what stops it from being so? Scottish band Life Without Buildings with branded talk-sung vocals Sue Tompkins has existed for only a few years and has long been forgotten, but is now gaining popularity in TikTok trends, especially among people who do makeup and dye her hair. Someone probably fulfilled a wish in a peculiar way.
<br>Bobby Hutcherson - Stardust
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/LgGXAOn2gNU" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>Trumpet, marimba, and vibraphone are the perfect set for forged jazz, especially when made by genre legend Bobby Hutcherson. Stardust fits amazingly well for sitting in a darkened bar, slowly shaking your foot, and enjoying the enchanting sounds of music.
<br>Mainline Magic Orchestra - Xumba Xumba
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1hT2WjhKJz4" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>A video in which fantasy transcends all boundaries. Half-naked men, looking like kebabs, revolve around a giant spit, a snake crawls, thanks to facial expressions, and the dude, lying on a skateboard, cleans a painted mouth like a toothbrush. Mainline Magic Orchestra is a house music live band that can surprise not only in their music videos but at a stage as well. Check out their Boiler Room Festival performance in Barcelona.
<br>Damon Made of Human Parts - At Home
<iframe style="border: 0; width: 350px; height: 470px;" src="https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/album=1333617902/size=large/bgcol=333333/linkcol=ffffff/tracklist=false/track=638557695/transparent=true/" seamless><a href="https://damonmadeofhumanparts.bandcamp.com/album/nobodys-watching-you">Nobody&#39;s Watching You by Damon Made of Human Parts</a></iframe>Weed & Dolphins frontman Damon’ solo album expands the opportunity to love everything they do. Nobody's Watching You is a personal story about the difficulties that the inner world of a human faces and how it overcomes him or her through music. The album is interesting to listen to in full and at once, for a hook, we suggest starting with the track Moon.
<br>Nomok - Jericho Rose Hi (feat. Tal Kohavi & Nitai Hershkovits)
<iframe style="border: 0; width: 350px; height: 470px;" src="https://bandcamp.com/EmbeddedPlayer/album=3834177831/size=large/bgcol=333333/linkcol=ffffff/tracklist=false/track=2018307754/transparent=true/" seamless><a href="https://nomok.bandcamp.com/album/calm-on">Calm On by Nomok</a></iframe>Debut solo soft and smooth ambient-IDM album of Tel-Aviv-based musician out on Raw Tapes. If you follow the Raw Tapes label you definitely heard his master keyboard skills in one of our new school soul bands Masok. The whole album is worth your attention.
Mulatu Astatke - Yekermo Sew
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ejgpiWZHH34" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>Absolutely epic Ethio Jazz by Mulatu Astatke. Yeah, you read it right. Ethio Jazz is a form invented by Mulatu himself pioneering African music. If you haven’t heard any of his music works, it’s time to get digging.
<br>Zinja Hlungwani - Nwa Gezani My Love
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/GM5Kw6LVYlk" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>Warm, catchy, and soulful Hello from South Africa. It’s called Shangaan electro and it’s not only about music but about specific dance as well. Really fast 4 on the floor makes you wanna move. Go check Shangaan electro dance and make your friends jealous of your moves at the next party.
<br>Coflo feat. Rawb Boss - Peanut Butter Lover
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mwzZ45KeP_U" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>One of my personal favorite afro house producer Coflo released a great single on Yoruba Records. It’s a perfect combination of acid, afro house, funk, and warm syncopated rhythms dedicated to peanut butter. Enjoy!
<br>Ajukaja - Stranger
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/0oplPPkgSAw" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>We’ve highlighted the other tune by Estonian house legend Ajukaja last week, but I still can’t get enough of his production. This one is a classy lo-fi house topped with amen break and 303 basslines.
