Blue Tape's debut compilation is out
On the bright side of hip-hop
The compilation is called 'Tape 01: Ultramarine'. There you will find seven tracks from musicians from different parts of the world: from the USA, Jamaica and Australia to Poland, Russia and, of course, Belarus. Blue Tape was created by Belarusian DJs and producers Julia Koffie and Ain Souf. Here is how the latter comments on the idea:
– Blue Tape is a project the goal of which is to bring together sound producers, DJs and artists from different parts of the world. Julia and I have been on Soundcloud for a long time, because it is, in its essence, a cradle for new musical talents and trends. Therefore, we decided to make this site the main one for the implementation of our idea. The first milestone in the existence of the project is the release of the multi-genre compilation Tape 01: Ultramarine.
In fact, on the compilation you will find classic future beats, beat dancehall, and baile-funk newschool, but what unites these tracks is a bright, cheerful vibe that makes you want to move to the beat.
