Anastasia Rydlevskaya just released a new single, a prayer to the Australian demiurge.
Belarusian artist and musician Anastasia Rydlevskaya just dropped a new single called "Rainbow Serpent". The song is filled with despair, calling out to one of the world’s key rulers – the Rainbow Serpent – asking for a better world. It’s set to a pulsing beat, perfect for putting the Serpent in a trance. But while making the request, an unexpected side effect came up. Rydlevskaya explains:
– The new track "Rainbow Serpent" is written from the perspective of a lyrical heroine who has become disillusioned with humanity and is asking the ancient serpent, the creator of the world, to destroy everything he created and make new people who do not kill each other and live for love. However, during her song-request, the heroine starts to realize that both she and everyone dear to her are part of what she is asking to be destroyed. Her despair mixes with anger, pity, and empathy for herself and the world around her.
